Down The Road Past The Ground

Napoleon Phase IV - The Final Chapter

So this morning I dropped Chuk back off at his car over at the Highlander. He couldn't drive it last night. Then called up Kanka and met up where I destroyed the special of the day at Blue Bird. It was 2 pork chops in apple cider sour kraut with some scrambled eggs and a biscuit with jam for me. Then Kanka said we needed a drink to follow, so we headed to ElMyr... a place I would be hitting up later that night anyways for the festivities. I wasn't to thrilled with the idea... but I did that shit anyways.

I had to pick up my parents at the airport that evening so the make-up process started really late... didn't get on the road untill 11PM. And POOF after 4 hours your make-up is done. It's seriously that easy, anyone can do it.

Natural Eastern Swept Clean To Coast

Preping the make-up for Napoleon phase II. This time I am tooling around with latex and some other goodies. The idea is to push the makeup one step further each time I did this costume. So I may end up with no face by the end of the month... if I did this every night.

And there you go... it's just that simple - (2 hours later).

Napoleon enters "Haunting at Admiral Drive II" and meets a whole cast of creeps and goolies.

Restriction In Trade

ZOMBIE WALK 2009
Doing up make-up at Tracy's house.

At the walk with the rest of the zombies... Grrrr. Even made the AJC web page... NICE.

ElMyr for lunch after the big walk with friends. Matt, Judson, Tracy and Linton share a table on the porch.

Then me and Tracy went out and scared people all night long drinking the whole night long.

Sitting With The Big Man

Playing around with all the elements. I need to build the metals for the jacket. I've already started with the large silver one you always see on Napoleon. I lucked out and found a great Christmas ornament that I was able to reconfigure to my liking.

Also recieved my real sword finally. I had purchased a youth plastic sword thinking I could retool it to my liking, but it broke into four pieces as soon as I swung it. Yup... garbage. So I went out and found a Napoleonic Era replic sword. Good stuff.

Metals are finished... just the last minute touches. Zombie walk is tomorrow.

And now for hat #2. I'm gonna do the same process as the first... this one is just abit more elaborate with the 2 colors.

Those are finished... time to get cooking on the painting itself.

More Frank About It

Was able to rework the front of the jacket into a form that I'm pretty happy with with relative ease. The problem with the original cut is that there is no way to you the classic Napoleon hand in the vest. The new cut lets you work that vest. Way better.

I also reworked all the buttons on the vest and began to wear it down to a more "dead wore" appearance.

WAIT... I already know what you are going to say about Photo #2.
