After attaching the HG piece to its bottom box portion yesterday afternoon, I spent the evening affixing all the photographic cut stripes to the JP work. It was a relentless task, as working with these stripe elements always is. I did it standing—first the left side, then the right. Once they were all in place, I applied a clean, clear coat—no displacement issues at all.
The plexiglass box for the DOS piece arrived today. Even without any added detail, the DOS work looks even more impressive inside it. The way these collective objects are arranged within the box gives it a clinical, detached quality. I still need to add a base element to this piece, though.
