Lots of work to get done today. Hit up the new Home Depot down the street from me to pick up some trim and lumber to finish up a few of the works for the show. I built-out the frame understructures for the 3 dildo works and finished them with some paint and glued the rest of the centerfold strips around the frames. Next step is to get the dildos coated in sprinkles and then attach them to the frames. This will prove to be a highly amusing and challenging venture. I also added two black trim pieces to the large work. It's (2) 44" long rounded trim that sticks 1.5" up from the center of the piece. It's helped to focus the composition to the center field of jimmies. After the pieces have set I'll begin to attach the other items that will float in the center of this area - 6 donuts and 1 vintage glass Coke bottle. I picked up a tube of 60min set epoxy at the store yesterday along with several 4" long zinc plated bolts that I'll be using to attach the bottle and dildos to their respective pieces.
-
There's still a lot of work to do on all of these pieces and time is fading fast. The show is in less than 2 weeks now.

Working on what used to be 'Ace Rac'. After I started putting the piece together I decided that the piece of billboard I was going to use just didn't work and had absolutly nothing in common with the rest of the work in the show. So the work has evolved into something much better - and now with Jimmies! I'm hoping to wrap this work up by the weekend.
